All videos
and material produced by
Toronto Landscape TV and John Goldstein
is licensed under a
Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 2.5 Canada License.
Under the
terms of this copyright license you can, without
permission:
-
Download & view
episodes.
-
Present episodes in
a public environment.
-
Use episodes to
demonstrate high definition equipment (including equipment for
sale/rent - for example, playing TLTV episodes in your shop
front).

Convert / transcode
content into a different format suitable for different video
equipment (e.g. use iTunes to convert the format for your iPod;
use DVD creator software to make DVDs; record to VHS tape).

Distribute content
using digital or physical means (e.g. make episodes available
for download from a web site; upload to video sites such as
YouTube; add to a BitTorrent feed; make DVD copies of episodes).

Create derived video
works using TLTV content (e.g. edit episodes to create your own
themed shows, or your own show which partially or wholly
comprises of TLTV content).

Distribute your
derived works using digital or physical means.
However, you are
subject to the following limitations:
- You must not
make commercial or financial gain from any derived works that
include TLTV content.
- You must not use
any TLTV content in a work that is religious, political, or
contains adult themes.
- You may not use
any TLTV content in a work that is offensive on grounds of race,
religious or secular belief, gender, age, creed, color, sexual
orientation or disability.
- You may not use
any TLTV content that is generally derogatory about Toronto or
depicts Toronto in an overall negative way except highlighting
some some particular aspect of Toronto which you wish to subject
to criticism (e.g. some aspect of architecture, traffic
congestion). Using TLTV footage for specific criticisms is
allowed, but using TLTV footage for general criticism of Toronto
is not allowed.
- You must not
partially or wholly remove or obscure any ‘Toronto Landscape TV’
on-screen identifications that may show up on the video (e.g.
you must not put another logo or other graphic over the top of
any TLTV ident, or zoom-in to the frame such that the magnified
image no longer includes the ident).
- You must provide
links to the Toronto Landscape TV website from any website
supporting your work.
- You must mention
Toronto Landscape TV in the credits of your work (e.g. video
end-credits).
